COPYWRITER
Hey, it’s Virginia or V! (depending on your affliction to the state)
Coming from a Dominican family, it’s hard to hear yourself over all the noise, so naturally, I decided to become a copywriter. Trust me, it was the only way to get the last word.
Talking about words, i’ve always seemed to have a way with them, whether it was a nature vs. nurture situation, is still up for debate. Considering I was forced to ghostwrite birthday cards for a massive family, you could say i’ve had a lot of practice with well wishes. Having to find a million different ways to deliver a heartfelt message—turned into a skill that, luckily for me, was highly transferable to copywriting.
I'd label myself a multitasker by trade. I strive to flourish in uncomfortable spaces, finding creative solutions to anything thrown my way. Figuratively and, if necessary, literally as well. (not included in my resume: cat-like reflexes)
I tell people copywriting is my passion. Not in the hilarious way the internet has twisted that phrase, but in the way where making typos, concepting crazy scenarios, and even waking up in the middle of the night to jot down a funny headline all seem like a good time to me.
Anyways, thanks for stopping by and if you want more than a one-sided conversation, let’s chat! I promise i’m a really good listener.
